Released Ep2 a few days ago and was too lazy to make a release post. Surprise extra double release since I think I’m starting to get the hang of this seedbox thing. :3
Here’s Ep1 of Centaur no Nayami. Enjoy! \o/ I actually got off my ass and released something that I made for myself for once!
Beyond belief, this blog still exists! I rather expected that it would’ve been pruned after SEVEN YEARS of inactivity, but hey, at least now I don’t have to set up a new one! \o/
Basically, what you can expect to find here are BD anime releases that no one else has bothered even slapping CR/HS subs onto available raws. Right now, I’m aiming to do just that, plus tack on a bit of TLC/timing/styling/editing polish. I’m running a one-man show for now and I’m a total amateur at this still, so any legit pointers and constructive criticism would be very much welcome.
I would gratefully accept the assistance of anyone capable of doing song translation from JP>EN.
EDIT: The torrent has p00f3d itself off of nyaa for some unfathomable reason O_o;; I’ll repost it later tonight but unfortunately, I have class to go to and won’t be able to do any seeding until I get back home. orz please forgive me.
EDIT2: Reposted the torrent… hopefully it won’t disappear on me again.
EDIT3: It did indeed get removed, apparently the video is an upscale, so it does not meet with Nyaa’s “high-standards” -_-;;
EDIT4: Posted a 480p version back up on Nyaa, 720p will only be available here via DDL until I find someone else to host it. Sorry. T_T
DDL: Screw MU, here’s FS instead since it is not as anti-social: http://www.fileserve.com/file/DCATVQf
It’s been a long time coming, but here it is!! ^_^ Details about the release after the jump.
Well, since I’ve finally gotten off my posterior and have something that is almost ready for release, I figured it was about time that I cleaned up the site. Old projects that were licensed were dropped and old posts related to them have been removed. The purpose of this site is still the same however… I intend to fansub older titles which have yet to see an English translation but will also do some newer stuff that I happen to enjoy. ^^ I still need some real translators and anyone with experience with Aegisub would be welcome since I am still a n00b when it comes to signs and karaoke. ^^;;
The “Kore wa Zombie Desuka?” OVA is nearly complete and the script is going thru TLC/QC right now. Once that is done, you too will be able to enjoy the bizarre acid trip that it is.
Something I whipped up after I saw someone else do the same thing XD
The difference is, my version is cleaned up so there are no credits in the way of enjoying the pretty pictures :3
Btw, for those who don’t have a clue what this is, it is from the ending credits of the first half of the anime “Durarara!!”. Everything scrolls up while the credits roll and there are somewhat random color changes, so it was tricky to get this as clean as I did… I’m kinda proud of how it turned out ^^… And yes, it is bloody huge (Dimensions: 1280 × 12901) @_@;; That is why the actual image is after the jump. ^^;;; Continue reading
I’ve decided to branch off my fansub related posts into their own blog instead of including it with my personal blog. Still Breathing Fansubs is now open for business!
Currently, I’m the only projects I’ve been working on are:
- Kore wa Zombie Desuka? OVA/Episode 13 – Used the recent HerpDerp Subs release as a starting point. All that was really unchanged was the majority of the timing and OP/ED karaoke (since I don’t have a clue how to make my own yet.) Nearly the entire script was rewritten by myself and will be released using a different video source. Currently going thru TLC/QC and should be released soon.
- Re-encodes of several fansub releases to cut out dual-audio tracks, convert from FLAC to AAC, possibly downsize from 1080p > 720p and probably some minor editing/typo corrections. Credit for the sources will be given as they are released. I’m doing these mainly for my own benefit since my storage space is getting rather tight these days and personally have no use for dubs or FLAC audio. If you don’t like my versions, please don’t bother complaining and just download the original releases. ^^
I have a basic understanding of spoken Japanese but no where near what I need in order to translate a show by myself. I also have nearly no experience fansubbing ^^;; Don’t expect speedy releases on anything. Even with translations in hand, I expect it will still take a fair bit of time for me to encode, time, edit the script, etc.
If you happen to be interested in the projects listed and want to help in any way, please let me know ^_^ I expect that I’ll be running a one-man-show, but any help I can pick up along the way will be appreciated.
